Rotary donates trees to Vaxadzi Primary School

The Phalaborwa Rotary Club recently donated 23 trees to Vaxadzi Primary School in Lulekani.

The project was led by the Anns Club, which is part of the Phalaborwa Rotary Club. Anns’ president, Comfort Kudze, led the initiative with some of her members, supported by Acting Mayor, Paulina Mailula from the Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality.

Anns and Rotary member, Virnicia Mathebula told the Herald that there were not enough trees at the school to create shade for the learners, and as an organisation, they saw it fit to assist. The school was pleased to receive the trees and is excited that in the next few years, they will provide shade.

Emelda Tintswalo Shipalana
