Larries 2nd team cricket Limpopo champions

Tzaneen Primary School’s Pofadders win the Limpopo cricket league final to become provincial champs.

TZANEEN – Tzaneen Primary School’s second cricket team, the Pofadders, coached by teachers Greyling Harmse and Steven Cremore, convincingly won the Limpopo cricket league final against Pietersburg-Oos Primary School to become the provincial champions.

The game took place at Stanford Lake College on Wednesday, October 9.

Tzaneen Primary School batted first and scored 112/9 in 25 overs. Pietersburg-Oos answered with 60/10. Tzaneen won by 52 runs.

Achievers of the match were Lian Koekemoer, who scored 21 runs from 34 balls and took 3 wickets for 18 runs in 5 overs, and Hanco Boshoff, who took 3 wickets for 12 runs in 3.3 overs.
