VIDEO – Businessman robbed of R57 000 after being followed from mall

A local businessman was robbed of R57 000 by a crime syndicate who followed him around at Middelburg Mall.

Mr Themba Sibanyoni withdrew the money to buy supplies for his business which is contracted by Eskom.

The cash was left behind in his VW Polo.

CCTV footage captured the robbers following Mr Sibanyoni, smashing his car window and taking his money.
