Two arrested for cannabis
Police arrested two suspects in Reabota on Monday afternoon for possession of cannabis (dagga).
Colonel Moses Maepa and Captain Joseph Mathibe followed information that there is cannabis at a certain house in Reabota.
Upon arrival, they found two males with pokes of cannabis in their pockets and a five litre bucket with loose cannabis.
“We follow any lead we get from the community in the fight against drugs, this dagga would have ended on our street. I urge members of the community to come forward and report any criminal activity in our community so that we can live in a safe community,” said Col Maepa.
• Thubalakhe Bhengu (23) and Siphethe Ximba (37) appeared in court on Tuesday.
