Hilarious Video: Thief locks himself in victim’s car
Middelburg's dumbest thief locked himself in an unsuspecting victims car in SADC Street on Wednesday afternoon whilst trying to steal items out of the car.
The suspect, who is yet unidentified, used a remote to jam his victim’s car at about 15:30.

But to his surprise, as soon as he opened the car door, jumped inside and closed the door behind him, all the doors locked automatically and he was stuck inside.
Video footage from bystanders show a large crowd of people gathering around the car and laughing whilst the suspect attempts to escape.

In spite of his his relentless efforts to get out of the car, the doors refuse to unlock. The thief eventually sighs in disbelief, accepting his fate.

According to nearby shop owners, the police later arrived and arrested the man. He was taken to the Middelburg Police Station.
