Boom in passenger plane to freighter conversions

The airline industry has continued to make its recovery from the negative impact of the Covid-19.  At the peak of Covid-19 crisis, planes were grounded which left the industry shattered.

The grounding of the passenger planes has meant limited transportation of cargo. This has placed a new and huge demand for freight services on this industry.

The response to this has been an increase in freighter conversions in order to meet the growing demand for cargo transportation and ever-growing demand for products from one part of the world to the other.

Industry experts are already warning that demand for freight services may soon outstrip supply.
