(Warning not for sensitive viewers) – Video: Shocking animal cruelty

A bitch and her 10 three day old puppies had to be humanely euthanized because a woman threw them into boiling water.

Senior inspector Petro Oberholzer (Middelburg SPCA) confirmed that a criminal case under the Animal Protection Act will be opened after a woman from Hlalamnandi dunked the dogs into boiling water.

A concerned passer by called the SPCA when they heard the cries of the animals.

When Inspector Oberholzer arrived, she was shocked with what she found. “Its was heartbreaking seeing and hearing the screaming of the burnt puppies! The mother also had burn wounds. They all had to be euthanized to stop further suffering”

The puppies had severe burn wounds on the legs and mouths and the bitch was also in pain with burn wounds on her skin.

Insp. Oberholzer was just waiting for a report from the vet, whereafter she will open a case against the woman.
