Thief with a serious sweet tooth

The police and management at Sasol Meyer Street are looking for a chocolate thief caught on their security cameras.

The man was spotted lingering around in the shop. What the cashiers in front did not know was that he hid a plastic bag behind one of the shelves, and every time he walked past it he threw a hand full of chocolate slabs into the bag.

The man made off with 40 slabs of chocolate after buying airtime. It is believed that the man will try to resell the chocolates somewhere.

A case of theft has been opened.

If anybody knows the identity or whereabouts of the man on the photo, they are requested to phone the investigating officer sgt. Banze on 013 249 1678 or the petrolstation management on 013 243 0494.
