Hole in the wall: Shop owner Girma Khemaoo was assaulted by three men before they stole items and fled.
In Malope Village a 33 year old Girma Khemaoo who sleeps in the room joining into the shop, was woken up by a gun shot.
“Shortly after the gun was fired, I heard a banging sound, they broke into the wall and three men came inside. I was sleeping in my bed and they started assaulting me, ” Mr Khemaoo told www.mobserver.co.za on Thursday morning.
The three men took his cellphone and shoes and then proceeded into the shop where they stole money, airtime and cigarettes.
In August last year, the same shop in Malope Village was broken into.
•One of the tenants in the yard told the www.mobserver.co.za journalists that another shop in Tokologo was also broken into.
No arrests have been made.
