Christmas concert in the garden at Leriba Hotel

Enjoy a Summer Christmas performance with classical music from Bach, Mozart, Pachelbel and other Christmas favourites remastered for the Pretoria Symphony Orchestra by the award winning conductor: Schalk van der Merwe.

The performance will take place outdoors in Leriba Hotel’s beautiful indigenous gardens.

Eight award winning wine farms – Boplaas, Doolhof, Hartenberg, Hoopenburg, Lammershoek, Oak Valley, Ridgeback, Van Loveren, Villiersdorp and Zorgvliet will be offering free wine tasting and guests will have the opportunity to buy wine at cellar prices.

A light lunch will be served upon arrival and both restaurants will be open for dinner.

Come and experience the exquisite combination of good wine and elegant music in a relaxed outside setting.

Time: 10:00 – 14:00

Price: Adults: R225, Scholars: R100 (includes free wine tasting and light lunch)

Duration: Two hours (Excluding a 30 minute interval)

Tobie van den Bergh

Tobie started as a journalist in September 1975. He was appointed editor of the Middelburg Observer in 1982 where he worked until he retired in 2024. He received numerous awards, is a founding member of the Forum for Community Newspapers and has published two books about his work. Although retired, Tobie is still very much involved in community journalism.
