Become a 2018 Shoprite bursary holder

Are you currently completing your tertiary qualifications in the following programmes, pharmacy, chartered accounting, logistics, information technology and retail business management? Are you in Matric and do you need financial assistance?, If your answer is yes, then Shoprite is looking for a candidate like yourself to apply for the 2018 Shoprite Group Bursary.

Shoprite could fund your education up to R70 000 depending on the course, assist with tuition, books and accommodation fees. The selected candidates will receive a work-back agreement with the Shoprite group to help kick-start their career.

Hendrina born Mbali Mahamba is a Shoprite Group Bursary holder. She would like to build her mother a “mansion” and make her grandparents proud.

In 2017 the Shoprite’s bursary programme paid tuition, books and accommodation fees for 287 students which amounted to R16 million. Bursaries are offered to matriculants and students currently completing their tertiary qualifications.

Hendrina born Mbali Mahamba (23) is a Shoprite bursary holder. Ms Mahamba is studying a BA in accounting at the University of the Free State, she has aspirations to became, “a influential and inspiring chartered accountant in the future” said Ms Mahamba.
