#TrafficAlert – N4 accident near Middelburg dam

An accident involving two light motor delivery vehicles resulted in the temporary closure of two lanes on the N4 near Middelburg dam.

The occupants of the vehicles sustained minor injuries but were treated at the scene.

Recovery of the vehicles resulted in the closure of one lane on each side of the highway.

TRAC has issued a statement that both lanes in the eastbound direction have since been opened, only leaving one of the westbound lanes still closed.

Motorists are warned of traffic in the area and are advised to drive with caution.
