UPDATE: One more dies in early morning crash
Another passenger who was involved in this morning's crash has died.
The accident took place on the R555 (old Witbank Road) at around 05:25, when a Toyota Hilux and Isuzu bakkie collided head on.
One of the passengers from the Isuzu was killed upon impact and the two drivers were rushed to Life Midmed Hospital in critical condition.
It was later confirmed that one of the two drivers has succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
This brings the death toll to fourteen fatalities in four days.
The road had to be closed as rescuers recovered the deceased’s body from one of the wreckages.
