Giovanni loses battle with cancer

The well known Mr Giovanni Lamprecht (71) died on Saturday, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

He was well known by the Middelburg community for his participation in Rotary for many years as well as his long service at St Josephs Home for the Aged.

Mr Lamprecht was also known for all the charity work he did for the community.

•The Funeral will be held on Thursday at 14:00 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in 194 Cowen Ntuli Street.
