NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS: Five dead after truck drives over car

Five people were killed in an early morning accident near Hendrina on the Carolina road.

Hendrina police spokesperson, David Mbenekazi, said that they suspect heavy mist was the cause of the accident wherein a truck drove over a car.

All the occupants of the car, believed to be on their way to work, perished in the accident. The wreck was in such a state that it is unclear what the make and model of the vehicle was.
The accident occurred an estimated 15 km outside of Hendrina on the R38 towards Carolina.
