Taxi associations refuse passage to Avanza drivers

School learners using private transportation services in Rockdale were prohibited from going to school this morning.

According to information Avanza Toyota drivers who are not apart of any taxi association in Middelburg were pulled over by taxi operators in Rockdale.

The drivers were told not to operate in the area, the motive is unclear.

 

While other reports said the taxi association in Nasaret were prohibiting taxi’s from Mhluzi from operating in the area, however when www.mobserver.co.za arrived in Rockdale both the Middelburg District Taxi Association and the Nasaret Taxi Association were operating freely.
