Foreigners nationals stranded following deadly accident

The Zimbabwean Nationals who were involved in an accident yesterday are stranded at the Middelburg Police Station.

Two people were killed on the N11, Kranspoort Pass and 22 seriously injured when the bus they were travelling in overturned.
The bus was travelling from Durban to Zimbabwe when the incident occurred on December 16.

Those who were not injured, were transported with their belongings to the Middelburg Police Station.

At least 22 of the passengers were transported to the hospital.

The distressed men and women spent the night outside the police station. They told www.mobserver.co.za that they are in talks with the owner of a bus service so that they can leave for Zimbabwe.

“We are not concerned about food, we just want transportation.”

They added that they lost their money during the accident.
