Walter Sisulu Street closed after fatal accident
A section of Walter Sisulu Street had to be closed in the early hours of this morning after a fatal accident occurred on the corner of Walter Sisulu- and Dr Beyers Naude Drive.
The collision involved two vehicles – one Mercedes van and a Blue Ribbon delivery vehicle.
According to eye witnesses at the scene, the Mercedes mini bus was travelling across Dr Beyers Naude Drive when the delivery truck skipped a red traffic light and collided with the mini bus.
According to information, fatalities have been reported at the scene.
Several injured passengers were treated at the scene by emergency personnel.
