N11 opened after violent service delivery protest

The N11 has been cleared and opened for traffic following early morning protest.

Traffic was interrupted due to service delivery protest action.

Doornkop residents barricaded the road with rocks and burning tyres, demanding electricity.
Stones were thrown at passing motorists.

Police officers, firefighters and traffic officials were on the scene ascertaining the situation.
