Woman who tested positive for Covid-19 no longer in Middelburg
A woman who tested positive for Covid-19 ten days ago, is currently in self quarantine in Johannesburg.

Dr Redge van Rensburg, spokesperson for local doctors, disclosed the information in reaction to a Facebook post by Dr Nadine Jooste, another local doctor and a www.mobserver.co.za article wherein she was quoted.
Dr Jooste claimed that the first positive Covid-19 case has been confirmed in Middelburg.
Dr Van Rensburg said that a woman, who resides in Middelburg during the week, was tested positive for Covid-19 in eMalahleni, where she works. She returned to her home in Johannesburg after testing positive.
She received her results about 10 days ago, before the 21 day lockdown was announced.
Dr Van Rensburg warned that just because there is no confirmed positive Covid-19 in Middelburg, it doesn’t mean that no one has got the virus.
He said that some people are carriers but do not show any symptoms. They can infect thousands without knowing it.
He warned people to stay at home and to stay away from each other.
