• Operating times and goods on sale might change at any moment if government announces further guidelines.

• There are several requirements food stores have to adhere to that came into play during the lockdown. Despite this, different stores have different approaches. The details above were obtained from the store managers themselves and only relates to stores in Middelburg.

• One store chain were instructed by head office to be closed by 18:00 at night. Another is that the size of the store determines how many people are allowed inside at the same time.

• At this stage (09:00 31 March 2020), no nicotine products are allowed to be sold.
