Covid-19 closes Middelburg Police Station

The Middelburg Police Station has been temporarily closed after a member of the SAPS has tested positive for Covid-19

According to a press release issued by SAPS Provincial Spokesperson, Brigadier Leonard Hlathi, the Community Service Centre will now be operated from the SAPS Finance Office, behind the police station on Dr Beyers Naude Drive.

Community members are encouraged to call the following numbers to access the police station for all complaints and emergencies:

013 247 7000; 013 249 1685; 013 249 1688

The telephone line at the police station will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.

The building will be decontaminated and services will resume at the station on 26 July.
