Truck accident in Kranspoort Pass

Motorists are advised to approach the Kranspoort Pass with caution after a truck accident this afternoon.

The accident occurred at around 16:00 after the truck overturned at the Avontuur bend.

The truck, which was carrying bags of Urea lost its load during the incident.

According to a community member who was recently at the scene, towing services are en route and there is a possibility that the pass may be closed to allow vehicle recovery and clean up of the scene.

Motorists are urged to approach the area with caution.
