Covid stats for Steve Tshwete

The amount of positive cases for the Steve Tshwete district continues to rise as the area sees an increase of over 300 infections since the last report.

According to the latest statistics released by the Mpumalanga Department of Health, the number of positive cases are as follows:

Steve Tshwete – 1759 positive cases, 1339 recoveries, 5 fatalities.

eMalahleni – 4214 positive cases, 3433 recoveries, 23 fatalities.

Govan Mbeki – 2652 positive cases, 1958 recoveries, 22 fatalities.

Mbombela – 2833 positive cases, 1933 recoveries, 10 fatalities.

•According to the Department of Health, only five Covid-19 related deaths have been reported for the Steve Tshwete district. It can, however, be confirmed, that 10 Middelburg residents have since passed away due to Covid-19.
