Three rushed to hospital after truck rolls in pass

Traffic was disrupted after a three-ton truck lost control in its descent of the Kranspoort Pass at around 20:00 tonight.

The truck, which was transporting roof tiles, overturned before finally colliding with the concrete barriers.

The truck was carrying four people, two of which sustained serious injuries, and one mild injuries.

The driver came out unscathed.

Towing and emergency services were on the scene and a clean up of the road ensued.

Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution as another truck is stationary in one of the arrestor beds.
