Nasaret Protest

A group of Nasaret residents handed a memorandum of demands to Members of the Mayoral Committee this morning.

In the memorandum residents demand, employment opportunities, skills development, recreational facilities, and housing in Nasaret and surrounding areas.

The peaceful demonstration comes less than a month since the residents of Mhluzi marched to the municipal offices.

Protesters were led by Gareth Brown, who handed the memorandum to MMC Johan Matshiane.
