Warning of severe thunderstorms heading our way

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of severe thunderstorms making it's way to the Middelburg area.

According to their information, predictions of thunder showers, heavy rainfall, hail and strong winds have been made.

Residents and motorists are being urged to stay indoors as far as possible as threats of damaging winds and localized flooding could lead to loss of infrastructure and belongings.

Tuesday (today):

Minimum 14°, maximum 26°

100% chance of rain with windspeeds uo to 19 km p/h

Wednesday:

Min, 13°, max 22°

100% chance of rain with windspeeds up to 9 km p/h

Thursday:

Min 12°, max 22°

40% chance of rain with windspeeds up to 9km p/h

Friday:

Min 12°, max 26°

0% chance of rain with windspeeds up to 9 km p/h
