Search for family of murder victim – do you recognise these tattoos?

The police in Machadodorp are looking for the next of kin of a murder victim killed in February this year.

He was shot several times, execution-style, with a large caliber handgun and buried in a shallow grave in a plantation between Waterval Boven and Nelspruit. The man has blonde hair, is about 2.05m tall and weighed about 140kg. He had several tattoos, which include a tattoo of three babies on his left arm, a tiger on the right upper arm, a Saint Michael on the one side of his body, a demon with a woman inside it on the left side of his back and an unfinished tattoo of a demon it on the other side of his back.

There is also a written tattoo, which might be in Russian. During the investigation the police went to several tattoo parlours where tattoo artists told them that the tattoos were clearly not done in South Africa. If anyone recognises the tattoos they are requested to call warrant officer Leon van der Berg on 082 318 9857.
