Middelburg Preparatory focuses on 4th Industrial Revolution
Middelburg Preparatory School announced that they will offer LEGO Mechanics and amaKhodi coding programme for their leaners in 2021.

This will be included in the school fees.
They are very excited about providing this unique programme to their learners.
“It is very important that we focus on improving our STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education offering to the children in our community”.
The amaKhodi coding programme is specifically for Grade R – Grade 3 learners. Kids use coding puzzle blocks to code their way through various mazes, learning to give and follow instructions. The learners become the “GPS” of the lesson and figure out the codes of the maze which they have to solve by using bodily movement, puzzle blocks and a PC.

The Grade 4 – Grade 7 learners will take part in the LEGO Mechanics programme as well as exploring Micro:bit coding.
The school also opened their brand new computer lab recently where learners will learn different computer programs and the basic understanding of how a computer operates.
Applications for 2021 are still open and prospective parents can go to https://www.midprepschool.co.a/www.midprepschool.co.za for more information.
