Update: Technicians work through the night at substation

Technicians have been working throughout the night at the Gholfsig substation.

Technical teams are hard at work.

According to Cllr. Jos Pretorius, an estimated restoration time is yet to be determined as the technical teams are assessing damages at the scene.

The following areas are currently without electricity:

Gholfsig, Aerorand, Mhluzi, Avalon and Tokologo.

Residents have been asked to remain patient as teams are currently working hard to restore electricity to the affected areas.
