Mayor still in hospital

The Steve Tshwete Local Municpality mayor, Bagudi Tolo, is still in hospital after being admitted six days ago when he tested positive for Covid-19.

Executive Mayor, Bagudi Tolo.

Municipal spokesperson, Prudence Magutle, said that she can confirm that the mayor is still recovering in hospital but that she cannot comment on his health as it is a personal matter.

She referred enquiries about how Mayor Tolo is doing to his doctor who could not be reached for comment.
