Hospital installs Wifi boosters
Several families of patients in the Life Midmed Hospital have complained that they could not stay in constant with their loved ones, because of the weak cell phone reception in the hospital.
Especially when they wanted to make contact with patients in the intensive care unit.
The hospital responded with this press release:
“In response to the intermitted weak cell phone reception in Life Midmed Hospital, we are in the process of installing additional WiFi boosters to ensure uninterrupted signal throughout the hospital. Unfortunately, some medical equipment does influence the signal and this can cause an interruption from time to time.”
“Communication between patients and their family members is of utmost importance – especially during the Covid-19 pandemic where visiting hours have been suspended.”
The hospital offers free WiFi reception for everyone who is entrusted to our care.”
