VIDEO: Mayor Bagudi Tolo would have celebrated his birthday today
Mayor Bagudi Tolo, who passed away at around 02:00 in Life Midmed Hospital at the age of 69, would have celebrated his birthday today.
Mayor Tolo was born on 2 February 1952.
The municipality said his legacy would live on, like others, which include William Shakespeare, who also passed away on their birthday.
Mayor Tolo was inaugurated as Executive Mayor in April 2018.

Municipal Manager Mr Bheki Khenisa thanked him for his selfless community service.
Around 10:00 today, flags were lowered half mast in remembrance of the fallen soldier, exiled freedom fighter and liberator of the masses.
The municipality has urged the community, in a show of respect for Mayor Tolo, to keep adhering to social distancing norms as he had advocated before his untimely death.
