Mourners gathered at the Sydney Choma Banquet Hall to bid farewell to Mayor Bagudi Tolo.

The funeral service was held under strict Covid-19 restrictions.

Emakhazeni Mayor Xolani Sydney Ngwenya.

Mayor Tolo lost his battle to Covid-19 on Tuesday morning.

The funeral service is currently underway at the banquet hall.

eMalahleni Mayor Linah Malatjie.

He will be buried at the Hero’s Acre in Gholfsig.
