Mnr. Hamann was ’n bekende Middelburg sakeman wat sedert 1972 Middelburg Staal en Betonwerke bedryf het.
Hy is die week beskryf as ’n “legende” wat almal om hom laat lag het.
Mnr. Hamann het altyd gesê “as jou geld op is, is dit nie ’n skande nie, maar as jou schemes op is, het jy probleme”.
Hy is in November gediagnoseer met kanker.
Tot en met sy afsterwe het hy volgehou dat hy die kanker gaan oorwin, uit die hospitaal uit stap en al sy projekte klaarmaak.
Hy was bekend vir sy toegewyde werksetiek.
Sy begrafnis sal lewendig op Facebook uitgesaai word.
Skakels vir die begrafnisdiens sal per WhatsApp uitgestuur word.
