Beloved Dr Kola claimed by Covid-19

The tragic passing of renowned and beloved Doctor Ahmed M. Kola has left the community in mourning.

At the age of 83, Dr Kola passed away on Saturday, 20 February. Dr Kola was born in Sofia Town, Gauteng, before travelling to Ireland where he graduated as a Doctor. Fellow practitioner, Dr Mohammed Siddique Tayob, also described Dr Kola as a true giant of his time. He further spoke of Dr Kola as a man of integrity, compassion and was a true servant to the Middelburg community. Dr Kola was laid to rest by his family and the Muslim community on Saturday evening at 11:30. He is survived by his wife, Bibibhen, brothers, Mehmood and Hassen, sons Ismail, Haroon and Mohammed, and grandchildren.           * Notice: Coronavirus reporting at Caxton Local Media aims to combat fake news Dear reader, As your local news provider, we have the duty of keeping you factually informed on Covid-19 developments.
