
Members of the fire brigade have rushed to stifle the source of the fire at the Blinkpan substation. An electrical fault occurred at the substation at about 08:30 this morning (Wednesday). The cause of the fault has not yet been determined.
Municipal Spokesperson Prudence Magutle said officials are on the scene and that an investigation is underway. 
•Blinkpan residents have been without electricity since last week Thursday.
