HTS seun beroof op pad skool toe

Die ouers van ’n geskokte tiener seun, wat vanoggend gewelddadig aan sy klere rondgeruk is vir sy koeldrankgeld is raadop oor misdaad wat toeneem in die Mineralia woongebied.

Me. Douwlene de Beer sê dat inwoners keelvol is vir die handjievol misdadigers wat in die omgewing naby OK Jeppestraat rondhang en wag vir hulle volgende slagoffer “terwyl die polisie niks aan hulle doen nie”.

Beide sy en haar seun het onder boosdoeners deurgeloop.

Haar 16-jarige seun was vanoggend op pad skool toe, vanaf ’n blok woonstelle in Jeppestraat, toe hy gou ’n draai gemaak het by ’n klein winkeltjie langs die OK om koeldrank te koop.

Hy is deur twee mans oorval, en sò rondgeslinger dat sy skoolhemp van sy lyf afgeruk is.

Toe hulle eers sy beursie in die hande het, het hy huistoe gehardloop.

Hy het groot geskrik en kan nie die twee verdagtes identifiseer nie, maar hulle vermoed dit is deel van die groep verslaafdes en haweloses wat buite die winkel langs die drankwinkel rondhang.

Me. De Beer het die saak aangemeld by die polisie, maar hulle het gesê dat daar ’n tekort is aan voertuie.

“Ons kan nie eers meer ons kinders laat skool toe loop nie. Ek is self al daar beroof en dis hoogtyd dat iets gedoen word aan die misdadigers.”
