Die man wat haar aan die groei gekry het, se naam is Cornelius Bouwer en hy verdien eintlik van ons elkeen af ’n goue ster!
Sy pampoen is op 269kg die grootste in Mpumalanga en daarvoor skree elke Middelburger: “hiep, hiep hoera!”

• Op die meegaande foto’s en video kan gesien word watse operasie dit was om die pampoen oor die muur met ’n trokgemonteerde hyser te kry, aangesien

‘Magriet’ te groot was om deur die meenthuishekkie (waar sy gekweek is) op ’n kruiwa uit te stoot.

•Magriet was vyfde in die kompetisie.
