Everest Group takes on microinsurance

A launch was held for Everest Corporate Life at the Unique Rose Boutique Hotel last Wednesday, where black excellence was celebrated.

Everest Corporate Life is a black-owned and black-managed micro insurer.

During the event, the group’s CEO Danny Khesa explained how the company had started its journey in 2019, and after two years of hard work they received news from the Prudential Authority that they had been awarded a micro insurer licence.

The licensing means that Everest Corporate Life can operate as an underwriter for other businesses.

Mr Khesa praised his team for their dedication, he also said he would like to see the company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Everest Financial Services will be hosting their fourth annual golf day on November 5.

In 2019, Everest started the initiative of an annual golf day to raise funds, the closer Everest got to their communities, the more they realised how much help was needed. All funds raised from the golf day will go to several needy communities.
