Heartbroken dad in agony after son vanishes

The father of the boy who went missing two weeks ago says every day without him hurts, but he is hoping his son will be found alive.

Albert Tivane, said he hasn’t heard from the police since their search last Wednesday, and he feels as though the police are not doing enough to assist him.

Despite feeling dreadful, Mr Tivane said he still conducts searches every day with residents and has consulted spiritual leaders to assist him in his search for his son.

Mpendulo, who is just four-years-old, went missing on July 30 in Extension 24 near his mother’s house. He was last seen climbing into a white vehicle, wearing grey military pants, a Khul’unolwazi school jersey and navy blue slippers.

Anyone who might know anything about Mpendulo’s whereabouts can contact the Middelburg Police Station on 013 249 1600 or Albert Tivane on 079 374 4039.
