R1000 reward leads to several arrests

Repeat offender robs Shell Garage three times in one month.

The Police have made several arrests after the Shell Garage in the CBD, offered a reward of R1 000 for information on a man that robbed their convenience store three times this month.

The suspect robbed the store on March 3, 14, and 23 and made off with an undisclosed amount of money each time.

The store owner said the suspect used the same modus operandi during all three incidents.
He usually targets the store when there are no customers and uses a firearm to demand cash.

Last September, the same lone suspect targeted the garage and made off with cash and cigarettes.
The garage owner said the same suspect has also robbed a Total and a Sasol Garage.

Anyone who may have information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect is urged to contact Detective Banzi on 079 420 0535 or Detective Malinga on 073 363 7072.
