Fourie dominates in Duathlon World Champs

Cobus Fourie won second place in the 65–69 age group during the 2023 Duathlon World Championship sprint event in Ibiza, Spain.

Out of 2 000 contestants, Cobus came 27th overall, with a time of 1:13:11.

The cyclist told the Middelburg Observer he was honoured to lead the South African team through the spellbinding opening ceremony before the championships began.
