Section of Beyers Naudé closed, causing traffic congestion

A part of the Beyers Naudé Road at the four-way intersection, joining Lilian Ngoyi Street, is closed due to a big hole.

This is causing significant traffic congestion.

It is unclear whether the road has collapsed or if it was caused by maintenance.

The Middelburg Observer can confirm that the hole was cordoned off last night.

Caution is advised to all drivers in the area.
