Accident closes two lanes in Kranspoort Pass

According to a traffic alert issued by community members at 05:30 this morning, two lanes bound for Groblersdal had to be closed after a truck lost control in its descent of the pass.

While lanes heading in Middelburg’s direction were open, the road surface was covered by the stones from one of the arrestor beds.

Traffic on the N11 was further affected by three stationary trucks in Doornkop’s vicinity.

Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution
