Runners sing praises for Loskop

The dust has settled on the 2023 Loskop Marathon, leaving thousands to reminisce and praise the event.

An example of such is athlete Marina Coetzee, who flew from Swakopmund, Namibia, to take part in Saturday’s event.

Marina arrived on Friday, completed the race on Saturday, and flew back to Namibia on Sunday.

She is a former South African resident who has taken part in nine Loskop Marathons, with the goal for next year to be her 10th.

Fellow participants shared their thoughts on social media, with Karin van Greuning writing, “Love this marathon forever,” and Adelle Souza writing, “Loskop Ultra Marathon, I’m your biggest fan,” and Sekgothe Choma writing, “Loskop Marathon, done and dusted.”
