First Derby results are in!

Hoërskool Middelburg draws first blood in the 2023 Derby, with their squash teams emerging victorious from a hard-fought battle with the HTS Middelburg.

The matches took place on Monday at the HTS gym, beginning at 15:00 and continuing into the evening.

The two girls’ 1st teams standing together pre-match.

The next meeting between the two rivals will take place on Wednesday when the boys’ hockey A and B teams will face off on HTS home turf.

The squash results were as follows:

Girls’ 1st team: MHS 4–1 HTS.

Boys’ 2nd team: MHS 4–1 HTS.

Boys’ 2nd team: MHS 5–0 HTS.
