A single motor-vehicle accident took place on the N4 near Alzu Petroport earlier this afternoon.

According to information gathered at the scene, a bakkie carrying seven passengers overturned after suffering a blowout.

The passengers were transported to hospital for treatment, but no serious injuries were reported.
