N11 accident leaves one driver hospitalised

An accident took place this morning at 07:00 on the N11 at one of the entrances to Doornkop, leaving one driver hospitalised.

The incident took place at an entrance to Doornkop.

The incident involved a bakkie and another motor vehicle.

The Middelburg Observer spoke to the driver of the bakkie, who had no injuries, “I was driving from Loskop towards Middelburg and the other vehicle was turning left into Doornkop when we collided.”

Bits of wreckage and shattered glass are still visible at the scene, but the road remains open, as both vehicles have already been removed.
