Middelburg wakes up to -4 temperatures after widespread snowfalls
Towns like Lydenburg, Dullstroom, Volksrust and Belfast could possibly wake up to a winter wonderland.

Residents must brace themselves for a very cold week ahead as temperatures plummeted to -4 overnight.
Weather services has issued a number of warnings which will be updates continuously.
Snow fell on Saturday over the Western Cape mountains and Sutherland, over the Swartberg, Nuweveld Mountains, as well as the Sneeuberge in the Eastern Cape
A nice dusting of snow also fell in the town of Molteno in the Eastern Cape.
Yesterday, more snow fell over the northern mountainous areas of the Eastern Cape and Drakensberg and over the mountainous areas near the Midlands in KwaZulu-Natal
Models also showed the possibility of some light snow on Sunday night in Mooirivier and surrounding areas. Mountain passes near Newcastle and Volkrust could also see some snow.
Weather models are still picking up ground snow possible today in Mpumalanga.

Weather models are not in agreement on how much snow will fall in Mpumalanga, ECMWF (the European weather model) is picking up a light dusting, and GFS (the American weather model) is showing between 1 and 5cm throughout Monday
